Reaching the unreached in the 10/40 Window

Between 10 and 40 degrees north lies a band of North Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia and Southeast Asia. Roughly 3 billion people live there who have never heard the gospel. We go to them, and we meet urgent needs along the way.

The people in the window

The 10/40 Window holds most of the world's unreached people groups. It holds the countries most hostile to Christianity. It holds the highest poverty rates on earth.

For us, it has faces. South Sudanese refugees in the camps of northern Uganda's West Nile region, many of them women and teenagers raising children alone after the war. Orphans in those same camps. Unreached tribes such as the Aringa, in a predominantly Muslim district. And the persecuted church.

They are not victims. They are our brothers and sisters. We go because we love God, and we love all others.

What we do

Everything we do grows from a single command: "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation" (Mark 16:15).

  1. Plant churches

We plant and build churches in the refugee camps and among unreached tribes. In the South Sudanese camps we helped plant, build and equip churches, and put Bibles in them.

  2. Make disciples and train leaders

Evangelism, discipleship and Bible distribution, and training for youth and children's ministry leaders, so the churches in the camps are led by their own people.

  3. Heal trauma and lift up women

We provide biblical trauma counseling and training. Ugandan Catholic sisters asked us for domestic-violence counseling training, and we gave it. In the camp churches we hold women's ministry gatherings and women's conferences.

  4. Care for orphans and refugees

We built homes for orphans and furnished them with bunk beds and food. We bring refugee relief and distribute food to families who fled the war.

  5. Proclaim by radio

A women's Christian radio program, in local languages, carries the gospel across the West Nile and into the camps. The station's owner gave the ministry a discount to keep it on the air.

Stand with them every month

Monthly partners keep the work steady: churches built, orphans fed, the radio on the air. A gift of $25, $50 or $100 a month is how you go with us.
